Phoenix Fire Chats

The symbol of the Phoenix rising from the ashes in many ancient cultures, symbolizes rebirth, transformation and reincarnation.

One of today’s many challenges in dealing with social issues that affect many us in the world, is the inability or refusal to have any form of open communication where people are transparent, honest and forthcoming.

Clinicians can unintentionally slip into limited perspectives of their clients, leading to stagnation for themselves and limited expectations for their clients. This can lead to burnout and living in survival-mode, resulting in dissatisfaction and/or frustration.

When I created the program Phoenix Fire Chats in partnership with Lucid Dynamics, my ambition was to bring fresh insight and perspective so clinicians can grow professionally, personally and spiritually. I wanted to bring a context to which we normally would not have access by talking to people who are going through hard circumstances and experiencing situations with fresh ears to hear the strength through the challenge. In these programs we identify issues, obstacles, and solutions to overcome those obstacles and the incredible ability of these individuals to cope and thrive.

Some of the issues that we address are clinician burnout, caregiver challenges and personal practices in order to keep relevant as professions. When we learn from each other and gain perspective, only then can we experience a rebirth, turn challenge into strength, striving into thriving.

I hope you enjoy our podcasts as much I have had in creating and interviewing the wonderful people showcased in our program!

“Life is a cycle, a great wheel that turns throughout time: we are born, we live, we die, and (if we are lucky) we are reborn.” ~ Robyn Bachar.

Sincerely,
